Ross Local Schools Homecoming 2025: A Community Celebration

Homecoming is one of the most anticipated traditions of the year at Ross Local Schools. It’s a time for students, staff, families, alumni, and neighbors to come together in celebration of our school spirit and our community. This year’s Homecoming festivities will take place the week of October 6–11, 2025, and we are thrilled to share all the opportunities for students and the entire Ross community to join in the fun.
Spirit Days at Each School
Throughout Homecoming Week, each of our schools will host coordinated spirit days, giving students and staff the chance to show their pride and creativity. From favorite colors and fun themes to the classic Maroon Out spirit day, these spirit activities set the tone for a week filled with energy and excitement.

Elementary School Pep Rally
In the middle of the week, our elementary students will enjoy a special pep rally designed just for them. This event gives our youngest Rams the chance to be part of the Homecoming fun and feel the excitement of this district-wide celebration. RHS Football players, Cheerleaders, and the RHS Band of Class Drumline will be there to celebrate with our littlest learners.District-Wide Pep Rally – Friday, October 10
On Friday afternoon, October 10, students from Ross Intermediate School, Ross Middle School, and Ross High School will come together at the football stadium for a district-wide pep rally. The energy of having all three schools united in one place is unmatched—this will be one of the highlights of Homecoming Week!Homecoming Parade & Community Pep Rally – Thursday, October 9
One of the most cherished Ross traditions returns on Thursday, October 9, at 5:30 PM with the Homecoming Parade. The parade will launch from beside Elda Elementary, following it's traditional route, and will feature floats, student organizations, athletic teams, and community groups.Immediately following the parade, the celebration continues with our Community Pep Rally, open to all Ross families, friends, and neighbors. This year’s pep rally will include:
- Food trucks offering a variety of delicious options
- Entertainment from our cheerleaders, band, and student groups
- Fireworks show provided by RC Pyrotechnics to cap off the evening in true Homecoming fashion


Homecoming Football Game – Friday, October 10
The Rams take the field on Friday night, October 10, at 7:00 PM against Franklin High School. With the energy of the student section, the spirit of The Herd, and the support of our community, this game is sure to be a memorable one. Halftime will feature the introduction of the Homecoming Court, another beloved tradition.Homecoming Dance – Saturday, October 11
The celebration continues with the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, October 11, from 7–10 PM at Ross High School. Students will gather for an evening of fun, music, and memories to close out a week full of Ross pride.A Week for Everyone
